As a part of our ongoing schedule of nature activities at the Whitworth, City of Trees invites you to do some Fruit Tree Pruning! To improve the health of these trees and make this section of the park more accessible, we’ll tidy up any fallen branches, prune any trees with obstructive growth and follow desire lines to make the park a safer green space for everyone to enjoy.
We’ll also undergo other maintenance activities such as weeding, pruning, litter picking, bramble bashing depending on what’s most needed on the day.
Tools and gloves will be provided but please bring appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity and weather. All ages and abilities are welcome.
Please contact Jake (jake@cityoftrees) if you have any questions.
