Citizen Forester Tree Planting at Kingsdown Fields Roots Allotments, Wigan

The Details

Join us for a day of tree planting and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees!

We are planting trees in response to the climate and biodiversity emergency. They create healthier, happier communities, tackle the climate crisis head on, reconnect us to our natural world, and provide essential habitats for wildlife. We will also plant an orchard of apple, pear, damson and plum trees for the local community.

All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. This activity is suitable for all ages.

The event will run until the work is completed so on some days we may finish earlier than 3pm – please let us know if you will be coming later in the day and not arriving at 10am by emailing team@cityoftrees.org.uk
