Citizen Forester Tree Planting and Maintenance at Twingates Close, Oldham

The Details

Join us for tree planting and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees!

We are planting trees, and maintaining ones planted previously, in response to the climate and biodiversity emergency – giving our young trees at Twingates Close some Tree-LC. We will be carrying out this work to ensure that the these trees reach establishment and create woodland areas that will support the local wildlife whilst also responding to the climate emergency.

All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. Drop in for an hour or stay the whole day – you will be guided throughout the day so no prior experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for all ages.

Please arrive at 10am for the tool safety talk. The event will run until the work is completed so on some days we may finish earlier than 3pm – please let us know if you will be coming later in the day and not arriving at 10am by emailing team@cityoftrees.org.uk.
