The Details
Join us for a day of woodland management and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees!
We are carrying out this work to maintain a healthy and sustainable hedge that supports local wildlife and the surrounding community. Our staff will train you in using traditional tools including billhooks and run you through the hedge laying procedure. We will also be using tools like pruning saws, loppers, shears and secateurs, and litter pickers will also be provided. All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear.
Please arrive at 10am for the tool safety talk. The event will run until the work is completed so on some days we may finish earlier than 3pm – please let us know if you will be coming later in the day and not arriving at 10am by emailing team@cityoftrees.org.uk
