Business looks to blossom with tree planting

15 September 2020

Blossom coffee, a newly launched Manchester based coffee roastery, are just one business that has teamed up with City of Trees to support tree planting across the city region.

City of Trees works with a number of both small and large companies who demonstrate their commitment to sustainability by partnering with us to promote what they do, whilst supporting tree planting.

Blossom Coffee is one of the newest to join the movement and recently ran a competition on Instagram in partnership with us. One lucky contestant not only secured a monthly coffee delivery for a year, but the coffee connoisseurs also made a donation to City of Trees on the winners behalf - pledging to plant 12 trees.

Co-Founder of Blossom Coffee Roasters said “The lockdown provided a timely reminder of just how much we all depend on trees and green spaces within the city for our health and happiness. So when we came to organising the competition we wanted the prize to not just be a coffee giveaway but also provide the winner with the opportunity to give back to the city! We're really happy to be able to support City of Trees and the incredible work they do in whatever small way we can".

Blossom Coffee Roasters are also supporting City of Trees by making a donation for every 40 bags of Blossom Espresso sold, which will help plant a tree in the Greater Manchester region.

City of Trees Fundraising Manager, Carly Razzell said: “We loved teaming up with Blossom Coffee Roasters for this competition and are grateful for their ongoing support. It’s so wonderful to see local businesses joining us in our quest to make Greater Manchester a greener place for generations to come.”

City of Trees works with companies of all sizes from local start-ups, to global businesses to achieve their sustainability and green goals.
