The Natural and Cultural Health Service (NCHS) is a programme of outdoor activities that promote good physical and mental wellbeing ran in collaboration with Whitworth Park.
After a successful two sessions of meadow management, the ground at Whitworth has been prepared to sow wildflower seeds in the Spring. This will bring colour and vibrancy to this corner of the park, hopefully bringing joy to the many users of the gardens at Whitworth as well as supporting our vital pollinators.
This is a great chance to pop down for an hour or two to revitalise this outdoor space. We will be sowing British native wildflower seeds.
Tools and gloves will be provided but please bring appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity and weather. All ages and abilities are welcome.
Time: 11am-1pm
Meeting Point: The rear of the gallery, at the Park Side reception, accessed via Denmark Road, M15 6FG
