The Natural and Cultural Health Service (NCHS) is a programme of outdoor activities that promote good physical and mental wellbeing ran in collaboration with Whitworth Park.
Beginning with a walk around the Whitworth with City of Trees’ resident bird expert, Hannah, who will guide us through the foundations of bird identification. Afterwards, we will get hands-on in our crafting corner and learn the art of crafting suet ball feeders, a delicious and nutritious treat for birds.
You will leave with a custom-made feeder ready to attract our feathered friends to your own green spaces.
Tools and materials will be provided but please bring appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity and weather. All ages and abilities are welcome.
