Citizen Forester Woodland Management at Priory Gardens, Trafford

The Details

Join us for a day of woodland management and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees!

We will be carrying out works to maintain a healthy and sustainable woodland that supports local wildlife and the surrounding community.

All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. You will be guided throughout the day so no prior experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for adults and older children. The event will run until the work is completed so on some days we may finish earlier than 3pm – please let us know if you will be coming later in the day and not arriving at 10am by emailing team@cityoftrees.org.uk

Parking/public transport

Parking is available on nearby residental streets
The site is a 5 minute walk from the Dane Road tram stop and directly opposite the Clarendon Crescent bus stop served by the 248 bus.

About the site

Priory Gardens is a public woodland. The area where we will be working has uneven ground and uneven paths. A portaloo will be available on site for volunteer use.
