The Details
Join us for a day of woodland management and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees!
We are carrying out this work to maintain a healthy and sustainable woodland that supports local wildlife and the surrounding community.
All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. Drop in for an hour or stay the whole day – you will be guided throughout the day so no prior experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for adults and older children.
The work we’ll be doing will involve using tools like loppers, secateurs, tree poppers, pruning saws and bow saws. We will be using these tools to prune back trees, remove invasive species, and widen the paths. Litter pickers will also be provided. Training will be provided on the day.
