Citizen Forester Tree Planting, Hill Top, Bolton

The Details

Join us for a day of tree planting and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees!

We are planting trees in response to the climate and biodiversity emergency . They create healthier, happier communities, tackle the climate crisis head on, reconnect us to our natural world, and provide essential habitats for wildlife.

All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. Drop in for an hour or stay the whole day – you will be guided throughout the day so no prior experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for adults and children.

The event will run until the work is completed so on some days we may finish earlier than 3pm – please let us know if you will be coming later in the day and not arriving at 10am by emailing team@cityoftrees.org.uk

Parking/public transport

There is limited residential parking along Harvey Street. Please be mindful of leaving space for residents to park.
St Paul’s Parish Church Bus Stop is 5 minutes from the site and serves the 525, 526, 902 and 922 bus routes.

About the site

Hill Top Park is a public green space. The area where we will be working in is mostly flat with some waterlogged parts of the ground. A portaloo will be available on site for volunteer use.
