Together we can grow a City of Trees

Rooted in Greater Manchester

We are City of Trees. We plant trees for people; trees to create better, greener places; to boost health and wellbeing; to enhance green skills; and to tackle the climate and biodiversity emergency.

We’re rooted here in Greater Manchester, the place we live and work. We are proud to call the region home and are passionate about making our region even better, one tree at a time.

We plant trees

We plant trees for and with the people of Greater Manchester, all with the help of our brilliant Citizen Foresters. Every tree we plant helps to make the region more resilient in the face of the climate and biodiversity emergency.

We look after trees

We restore Greater Manchester’s woods and green spaces for the benefit of communities and local nature recovery. Maintenance of our woodlands is vital in ensuring our trees have the best chance of thriving for future generations.
