Lindsey Chapman helped plant 250 trees alongside pupils Aiden, Fallon and Alfie from St Charles RC Primary School, Swinton to launch our Trees for Learning programme.

Alongside FC United, Helping Britain Blossom and volunteers ‘The Diggers’ we planted 22 red-apple-bearing fruit trees, creating a community orchard.

This family helped us plant 350 sapling trees at a Bruntwood supported event at Princess Parkway playing fields in Chorlton.

We’ve had so much amazing support for our Heroes Wood project where we have planted over 100 oak and hazel trees creating a memorial woodland to mark the centenary of the First World War.

Pupils from St Peter’s Smithills Dean C of E Primary joined Andy Burnham to help plant the first trees of the Northern Forest at Smithills Estate in Bolton in March 2018.

We helped children from The Willows Primary School in Wythenshawe plant 22 large ‘memorial’ trees as well as creating a bee-friendly meadow to mark the anniversary of the Manchester bombing.

Working alongside students from the University of Manchester we planted 100 trees at Wythenshawe Sports Ground.

John-Ben was one of the schoolchildren who helped to plant 250 trees at Princess Parkway playing fields in Chorlton.

We worked with Southway Housing Trust and Together Dementia support to create 13 orchards around South Manchester.

We transformed urban woodland Gorse Covert in Wythenshawe working alongside local residents and pupils from St. Elizabeth’s Primary School, including planting hundreds of new trees.

Thank-you to ALL our tree planting heroes who have helped us over thousands of trees take root to date. Donate £10 today to help us plant even more to green Greater Manchester. Donate online or text ROOT10 £10 to 70070.
