Citizen Forester Woodland Management at Cross Lane Park, Trafford

The Details Join us for a day of Woodland Management and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees! We are carrying out this work to maintain a healthy and sustainable woodland that supports local wildlife and the surrounding community. All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. Drop in for an hour or stay the whole day – you will be guided throughout the day so no prior experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for all ages. Time & Location

10am – 3pm, Cross Lane Park

There is parking at the community centre
Buses 255 and 247 operate in the area

About the site Cross Lane Park is a public park. The area where we will be working has wet and muddy ground, is flat and has ground-trodden dirt paths. A portaloo will be available on site for volunteer use.
