Miranda holds postgraduate qualifications in Housing and Planning and Post 16 Education. She has used this learning in a variety of roles in education and engagement to ensure communities and individuals can play a part in shaping their homes, green spaces and wider neighbourhoods to what they want and need.
Miranda joined the City of Trees team in 2017, working with partners and communities to develop projects, as well as securing funding. Recent work includes developing creative projects with talented community artists to celebrate our landscapes as well as working with Trafford Council and the Friends of Longford park to secure funding to improve the park.
Her favourite tree is Rowan – you can’t beat a tree that gives you berries to make jam whilst also banishing evil spirits.
