Emily Mason

Assistant Project Officer

Emily joined the City of Trees team in November 2020 as an Assistant Project Officer.

She previously studied for her MSci in Zoology at the University of Exeter, Penryn Campus in Cornwall. Since graduating in 2019 she has completed an internship with a conservation charity in Scotland. Emily has a keen in interest in landscape ecology and is passionate about connecting habitats, creating corridors for wildlife and ecosystems that are more resilient to climate change. She also enjoys engaging communities in their local environment and hopes to instil a love for the natural world in others.

Emily loves being outdoors and enjoys hiking and photographing the nature around her. Her favourite tree is a Rowan because of its vibrant autumnal colours.
