Tree planting party at Snipe Clough!

Saturday, 3 December, 2016 - 10:00

Join us to help create a community woodland at Snipe Clough in Oldham, part of National Tree Week celebrations.

City of Trees is working on The Snipe Clough Project,  to transform the former landfill site in Oldham into native woodland planting over 4,000 trees creating a green space for walkers, cyclists and members of the local community.

Come along 10am - 2pm to plant a tree; all equipment including gloves provided. All welcome!

As part of National Tree Week celebrations we'll also be giving away 100 free trees AND 100 free City of Trees goody bags!

Meeting point: The junction of Honeywell Lane and Kings Road. Any late comers can follow the ‘tree planting this way signs’!
