FULLY BOOKED: Big Wood, Wythenshawe: Green Recovery Challenge Fund

We are building a Green Recovery to increase people's connection to their green and blue spaces and tackle the climate emergency using nature-based solutions in Wythenshawe.

Volunteer to help restore habitats, improve biodiversity and increase the value of your local woodland.

What: Bird and Bat box building

When: Tuesday 19th July 10am-3pm

Where: Big Wood, Wythenshawe. Exact meeting point location to be sent out on sign up and closer to the event date.

Join City of Trees at Big Wood for a day building your own bird or bat box. Come and learn how to build your own bird or bat boxes and create a home for the wildlife of the Wythenshawe Woodlands or take home for wildlife in your own garden. All tools and materials will be provided, please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work.
