The Details
Join us for a day of tree maintenance, giving our young trees at Springwater Park some Tree-LC. We will be carrying out this work to ensure that the these trees reach establishment and create woodland areas that will support the local wildlife whilst also responding to the climate emergency. Trees create healthier, happier communities, tackle the climate crisis head on, reconnect us to our natural world, and provide essential habitats for wildlife.
All tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. Drop in for an hour or stay the whole day – you will be guided throughout the day so no prior experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for adults and older children because tree maintenance may require the use of sharp tools. If you are interested in bringing young children to this event please contact our team to see how you can be involved.
