Blackcarr Woods, Wythenshawe: Green Recovery Challenge Fund

We are building a Green Recovery to increase people's connection to their green and blue spaces and tackle the climate emergency using nature-based soltuions in Wythenshawe.

Volunteer to help restore habitats, improve biodiversity and increase the value of your local woodland.

What: Woodland management

When: Tuesday 31st May 2022 10am-3pm

Where: Blackcarr Wood, Wythenshawe, M23 1PQ. Exact meeting point location to be sent out on sign up and closer to the event date.

Join City of Trees at Blackcarr Wood for a day of woodland management. We will be working to improve access to the woodland through path maintenance aswell as improving the local habitat for our native flora and fauna. All tools will be provided, please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work.
