Discover the edibles living in our urban woods at Ash Wood, Wythenshawe.
Led by foraging and wildlife expert Dave Winnard (Discover the Wild), learn what you can and can’t eat and have the chance to try some warm foraged drink.
• Meeting point—entrance to Ash Wood off Haslington Road (M22 5HS)
• Attendees are encouraged to use public transport—Peel Hall Metrolink Tram stop is a short walk away on Simonsway. (There is a pedestrian cut through from Simonsway to Haslington Road).
Parts of the woodland are unfortunately unsuitable for wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
