Local residents are working to create a commuity garden on the overgrown land off East Philip Street in Salford. This is a project for everyone to take part in and the community to own, shape and develop.
The first action day will take place on Saturday 22 June where people will be making a start on clearing part of the site of weeds, removing litter and preparing some of the planters.
Everyone is invited to get involved.
Even if you can spare 5 minutes, every effort will help to transform the site.
Meeting point - East Philip Street, M3 7LE
There’ll be a Australian style sausage sizzle to keep teams fed. Feel free to bring food and refreshments
Important: You must wear sturdy boots, gloves and appropriate clothing for the day.
To stay involved and informed about the project please send your contact details to email@example.com or join the discussion on the residents facebook page: Bridgewater Residents Association.
