Citizen Forester: Monthly volunteering sessions

Our monthly Citizen Forester session will take place at Mersey Vale Nature Park in Stockport.

We'll be doing woodland management footpath improvement, wildflower meadow maintenance and litter picking at this Local Nature Reserve and Site of Biological Importance.

Address: Craig Road, Heaton Mersey, Stockport. Meeting point: Craig Road (close to the junction with Furness Grove).

Parking: Available on Craig Road

Toilets: Yes at Stockport Power League football pitches (adjacent to the site)

Whether you give 1 day, 1 hour or 1 week, by becoming a Citizen Forester, you're spreading the word about the City of Trees movement and helping us to achieve our vision of planting a tree for every man, woman and child across Greater Manchester.

Session takes place 10am - 3pm; all tools and equipment provided. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Light refreshments are provided.
